Stephanie Hon, JD has been a member of the California Bar since 2007. She joined Harding & Associates in January 2008. She is admitted to practice in California, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
Stephanie earned her Juris Doctor from Western State University College of Law, where she graduated in the top 25% of her class as a merit scholar. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz. While in law school Ms. Hon was a Certified Student Attorney with the Western State Legal Clinic practicing family law.
Stephanie’s practice is dedicated exclusively to family law. She handles all aspects of California family law, and has successfully litigated or tried cases dealing with dissolution, paternity, custody, post-judgment enforcement and modification. Her first chair trial experience includes disposition of multi-million dollar estates, complicated asset tracing, and high conflict custody and visitation disputes.
According to Stephanie:
It is important for our clients to know that in every case we are going to invest energy into trying to get the matter settled. That is the duty of every good family law lawyer. However, Harding & Associates is a firm of trial lawyers. From my first day at the firm I have been taught to appreciate that a complete family law lawyer has to be prepared to take a case to trial. I have the real trial experience to pursue the best interests of my client if that is what the case requires.
Stephanie is an active volunteer with the YMCA California Youth & Government program, teaching high school kids about the appellate court process and aiding them through their own case from research through argument.
